As I look at vacation pictures, John
I see one of my favorite places
I enjoyed Spanish Cove so much
There are many familiar faces

They come together as friends
Spending an Sunday afternoon
Sharing delicious food
Or dancing to a favorite tune

I’ll always remember my journey
With these wonderful folks
Reading my little poem to them
And their funny creative jokes

I knew Hazel looked familiar
Such a beautiful smile I got
For I had written a poem about
Her huge family cooking pot

My time there was way too short
But many great memories it wove
I’ll always remember the time I spent
With special people at Spanish Cove!
