Wonder the sperm that made the poet
Such a sperm unusually found
That out-smarted its peers to fertilize an egg
I imagine the egg that formed the poet
A romantic egg that defied all eyes and words
And openly made love with a ‘stubborn sperm'
Thinking about the womb that stored the poet
Kept him, fed him and warmed him
And churned poetry into his brain without knowing
Blessed be the day the poet was introduced to the world
With his stanza-ed entry and poetic cry
Filling the earth and irking every ear as his lines do today
