and the call that seemed so sure has been losing it's allure as the termites in the bedposts say their crunching is the cure for the remedies, now flailing as the winking clouds come sailing 'round the corners of the roof.... sounds the thudding of each hoof....
plied by violets and candy, dressed in silks, the one-time dandy pours a droplet on the carpet and then vanishes, aloof... behind the veils of mad magicians, stretched tight, taut, by superstitions stripped off painted inhibitions... crying, wailing, 'give us proof'....
while dancing to the metronome...... he takes a swing...and brings it home..! !
delilah contrapunctal.... yes, that's how I intended to spell it.........

This is music to the ear - and food for the eye - and an enchanting play on words that makes this reader smile. The sort of poetry that you understand while not completely understanding, if you know what I mean. Love the meter and the rhythm and the dangle dancing sparrow. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ |
