Sparkling Eyes Poem by Ron Pate

Sparkling Eyes

Sparkling eyes, catching heavens stars
Iridescence globes admired from afar
Two beacons of beauty holding truth
Bound across sky as intense quasars

Sparkling eyes, sets fire of the wind
Precious gaze bringing my soul mend
Reaching out acquiring my heart
Beating strong with no feelings to lend

Sparkling eyes, so tranquil to behold
Priceless looks almost of gold
Honest and true when held upon you
God's beauty and has broken the mold

Sparkling eyes, twinkling of delight
Growing drowsy with pending midnight
Slowly giving in surrendering to sleep
Before long to open seizing stars light
