Space Without Time Poem by Varanasi Ramabrahmam

Space Without Time

I have lost my SELF
Am void seeking fulfillment

Cheering and guiding
My Self had been;
A dancing stream,
Pretty and youthful love,
River full of current

Just as a river
Loses itself into the Ocean;
And a loving beautiful
Maiden loses her’Self’
In the arms of her beloved
Is not lost my Self

As
A gem is lost
In a wild forest;
A companion warrior
In the battle field;
A love separated
By unkind fate;
Is lost my Self

The violent storms of Life
Devastated, broke and sank
My Self
Making it a debris
On the bed of life

A flower fully blown
A bud it became again
Which encompassed so much
Has become vacuum within

Dreams dried up
As summer streams
Thoughts became
Crossword puzzles

In the absence of
My Self
I am Space
Without Time.
