Shall I say, I love you? says Love.
No, you shall not.
Love loses its magic when declared
Also, you would not be Love if you did not love me,
Says Hate.

Shall I say, I hate you? says Hate.
No, you shall not.
I already know you hate me.
You would not be hate if you didn't hate me,
Says Love.

But if I said I hate you, what would you do? asks Love.
I would not believe you, says Hate.
Then I must kill you, says Love.
Then, you will be lonely, says Hate,
And you will not be Love anymore.

You would kill yourself and become me.
