Soul- Mates Poem by Debolina Chakrabarti

Soul- Mates

Thousand lost souls beckon me from their darkest graves, long forgotten-
Stretching their shadowy hands to me- they plead to hold them tighter,
Their spirits infuses in-
Making the pain afresh that I once felt when loosing them.
Their daily chores- part of their mortal being- resurrect once again, before my eyes.
Me- once their dear one- crave to touch these familiar strangers aflesh!
But it's a peak ambition in course of a life! !
Waiting....... waiting need be- for them to return, or me to reach them in a more solitary place than the present-
The time sets the distance between my lost co- voyagers and me!
