Soul Mate Poem by Amelia Hammond

Soul Mate

Rating: 5.0

This tale is true and mine. It tells
How a broken vessel walks on Earth alone
Without it’s lovely bloodline fellow friend
This soul still shedding tears
All the grief given from the loss of
A lovely one now with the ruler of above
Memories running full of happiness
Yet bringing sorrow, that one reason of being
Was gone like it was never meant to be
As she trembled through the darkness
Was a world where everyone was invisible
Hearing a soft gentle whimper
Realizing it come from her lips
Everything became silent, no sound
Everything stopped even her emotions
Every heart beat came to its end
Nothing had a taste, nothing
No color only black and white came to play
Pressing his arms around a vessel
That was now beginning to become dust
Feeling yet again the warmth, a light
Finally the world turns a smile on her face
She felt her shirt become damped with his tears
She knew then she had someone to cry on
And whom that someone could cry upon
