Soul Fools Poem by AnaKay Rhoden

Soul Fools

Rating: 2.7

Confused
Life in turmoil
Does only what pleases
the eyes, body and mind
He thinks only of himself
she thinks only for herself
they are intertwined
He lies, wines and dines
Mountains high and valleys low
He searches for her hand
She seeks to get a way
to run away within herself
an island
He wants only to rescue her
and her to rescue him
from the torments of dark potential
and idiotic whims
What she wants
Can she find it in this man?
The man of her dreams
of night whispers and silent screams
Falling into temptations traps
Breaking her rules
They are together
Soul Fools
