Soul Destoyer Poem by Sheldon Carruthers

Soul Destoyer

He watches me from the darkness
Feeding of my every mistake, regret and doubt
Fear abides my every thought, my every waking day
But at night I kneel and prey to destroy this enemy of mine
I need a sign and without delay
The shadows turn slowly
Remove this hate from within my heart
Replace it with laughter joy, for the story has ended, I am not a toy.
