Soul And Body
Say not to the eye,
Why hast thou deceived me?
Nor to the body
Why hast thou betrayed me thus?
The eye guides not the heart
Neither your passions the Soul
The heart lusts after
Her own desires
According to her passions
And the Soul yearns for
their fulfillment.
Why art thou dismayed
When your lustful heart
leads your eye to deception,
And your craving Soul
your body to the
place of betrayal?
