Sorry For Being Tardy

Rating: 4.5

It was to make up an absurdist excuse.

When you're addicted
to wasting so many hours a day
when there are 24 in one,
when you keep wasting the same number
when there are only 18,
as in winter,
well,
you're going to be tardy.

Deeply envisioned. A didactic poem I like most. Thanks for posting.

I'm liking this, Scott...the concept/storyline is abstractivity is both unique and dare I say numerically spot-on? ~FjR~
