Sorry Poem by Kai Bonhomme

Sorry

For Mitch.

I'm sorry,
I was wrong to leave you like this,
I wanted to fit in so you would like me,
I now think it will never happen,
I don't understand why I act like this,
Or why I have to make people so angry,
Maybe something's wrong with me,
Or maybe I just don't belong.

I'm sorry,
I wish you would love me again,
I wish you could see that I was wrong,
And that I know it,
If only you could,
Then maybe,
Just maybe.

I'm sorry,
I want us to be,
I really do,
Every word I speak,
Every word I type,
I tell you,
That it is true,

I'm sorry,
I don't like to lie,
And I'm sorry I did to you,
I didn't want to,
I just did,
But now you're gone,
And All I could do,

Is cry,
