I look at you, see everything
See everything that I want
So badly, so much
But you'll never understand

I can't tell you,
You wouldn't understand
What I want to tell you
My heart is so full of sorrow

I look at him, see that he's got you,
Can't look at you with him,
All I want is to be with you,
You'll never understand that

Why would I bother to tell you?
It's all going to go right by you
And your long hair,
Like the wind at the beach

And I tell you, I'm here for you,
Just trust me on this,
You'll see that I'm great for you,
You just don't know it yet
