Sophia And The Tree Of Life Poem by Maurice Rowlands

Sophia And The Tree Of Life

Rating: 5.0

The one who finds me finds life
Dancing around the seven pillars
On a celestial carpet above the clouds
The Life Tree branches shall twist and entwine
And the golden fruit shall fall down from the vine
And scatter its seeds upon sacred grounds

The one who finds me finds truth
Illuminated down upon the Earth
On a windswept desert so vast
Truth from the future, truth from the past
The golden seeds shall take their root
To spring forth a tree to ever last

The one who finds me finds hope
Rising upwards from the ground
On a land plateau that’s full of light
Of nature’s riches like coloured jewels
Lighting colours in darkest night
We’ll dance around like drunken fools

The one who finds me finds love
Cascading downwards from above
Coiling vines around the world
Sprouting forth sweet flowers of gold
Spreading scent to ease our strife
Sweet Sophia and her Tree Of Life
