Sonnetxy Poem by Morgan Michaels

Sonnetxy

What a long vacation I've had!
It wasn't fun-just tedious and long.
Was I sane was I sober was I mad?
Demon chatter vied with seraph song.
I don't know, but I wasn't shovelling sand
In castle fashions, waves to wash away:
You weren't wearing a pink sarong.
I wasn't sitting in a seaside chaise
Letting the waves caress my feet:
Spumes of the dazzling sea-sprays;
No, but I visited many a distant land.
Now, happy to be back where I belong,
Better can I check the lands I roamed
From the vantage of this simple, central home.
