Sonnets Poem by Nicole Riess

Sonnets

Negative School Sonnet:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

I'm so done with all of you people here.

One does not simply move so slow, so go.

Don't you stop in the middle, move you pear.

Yes the bell, and I made it, no stop that.

Why are you talking about that in school! ?

I don't want to know about you're life rat.

Got in-school, again, what's new stupid fool.

Some of us here like to learn, I know right?

Go ahead talk about the gross pizza you threw.

Its like everyone comes here to always fight

This place, this Hell, is just like any other zoo.

I'm tired of all of this fadutal junk.

For once can I learn without you flunks.

Postive School Sonnet:

There is nothing to be said here right now.

People here have no respect for anything.

A push, a shove, fighting to the side, now.

Standing around, shivering, now waiting.

Listening to them talk, this is the best

There is something to be said now.

Talking to friends is like a mini-rest.

A laugh, a smile, trying to stop the tears.

Oh, but that is all, that is all left here.

After all, the rest is boring and dull.

I only wish I could be like a hare.

Here I am, nothing to say, stuck silent.

But, this little thing is not so violent.

It is of course better than a gull.
