Sonnet: When Apocalypse Comes Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: When Apocalypse Comes

How much of humankind dead will arise,
From tombs in soil, ash, water and elsewhere?
When Lord’s Day comes and sun ceases to rise,
There won’t be space to stand or breathe fresh air!

A million years to God is same as one;
How much God loves the human race He made!
God’s face is brighter than the brightest Sun!
The sun and earth and man must one day fade.

God Love stands tall for men of His goodwill;
His Mercy waits for repentant sinners;
His anger for the evil men could kill,
Them all in Hell’s fire with just one curse.

His Angels good will do all that He bids,
And seal the devils/ men in Hell with lids.
