Sonnet: Union’s Strength Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Union’s Strength

Rating: 5.0

When ants in hundreds cut a snake, piece-meal,
The moral says that union is strength;
A smaller group can bigger foes too deal;
One’s brain-work matters, not the body length!

God made all animals optimally;
The small size does not always mean weakness;
He gave them needed skills liberally;
The Almighty has heart of great kindness.

But man finds fault with Maker’s creation;
When we stand united, then victory comes;
There is a need to stifle ambition;
Simple are solutions to complex sums!

Sometimes, some lions join to take a fawn!
Sometimes, a king or queen fall to a pawn!

I have nothing to add, except to say I agree with Frank, in everything he said. Love & hugs, Barbara

Erudite, and philosophically bleeding of simple truth, common sense, abut all we just don't seem to get, nor buy into, as we should...Excellent work, Doctor....Hope you & yours had a very Happy & Blessed Easter Sunday! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
