Sonnet: Teacher(S) And Student(S) Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Teacher(S) And Student(S)

The holes in human fabric’s core,
Each teacher humbly serves to hem;
Each teacher is a living gem,
God gave to students to adore.

Most teachers expect not a thing
From students who are children-like;
From paupers, they turn each, a king;
The gifts they’re offered, they dislike.

Most awful thing, a student does
Is heeding not to teacher’s pleas;
In time, such students turn a curse,
And lose their earthly bliss and peace.

Your teachers mould your character –
In life’s success, a prime factor!

Dear student, Remember your teachers on Teachers Day!

A great advice to students! A good student is a blessing and a source of joy to the teacher! Next to parents, a teacher is is the one who prides over the achievement of his/her students! A disobedient and arrogant student invites curse upon himself!
