Today’s a special day on planet earth –
A date mankind will remember for long!
Some lucky children are destined for birth;
With happiness, the world will ring the gong!

A festive mood prevails all through the day;
The phenomenon drives most people mad;
Each one has plans to celebrate some way;
All hope that nothing happens truly bad.

Most people start the day with worship first!
All aim to spend the time blissfully then;
They pray that God prevents the gloom that’s worst;
Some minds and eyes gaze upwards to heaven.

The fancy date will pass away quite fast,
Remaining thing in world history that’s past!
