Sonnet- God Guides The World Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet- God Guides The World

Rating: 5.0

If nudity is modern art's great soul,
Obscenity is food for mind and eye;
Insanity is leader's leading role,
And barbarism, humankind's reply.

If hate and pride engulf our heart and mind,
And Corruption- infection that hits all;
And love of man and God, we never find,
Each may have built around oneself a wall.

A world of vanity can't last for long;
Man's labor lone cannot bring him success;
The Almighty does hear man's plaintive song;
Providing him His 'Touch' in his distress.

No one can dare to rip the world apart;
The Maker has all answers in His heart.
