Sonnet 75: तुम मेरी सोच में ऐसे हो जैसे जीवन के लिए भोजन
तुम मेरी सोच में ऐसे हो जैसे जीवन के लिए भोजन
या किसी अच्छे मौसम में बरसा पानी ज़मीन पर
और तुमसे शांतिमय जीवन के जैसे मै संघर्ष करू
जैसे किसी कंजूस को उसका खोया हुआ धन मिल जाये
अब एक भोगी की तरह गर्व करते हुए
इस बात पर शक करे की कहीं उम्र उसकी ख़ुशी चुरा न ले
कभी लगे अकेले संग तुम्हारे रहूँ
कभी लगे मेरी ख़ुशी का पता दुनिया को लगे
कभी तुम्हे निहारते रहने की इच्छा करे
और कभी कन्कियों से निहारने की
पाने और खोजने में वो मज़ा कहाँ
जो तुम से मिल गया हो या मिलने वाला हो
इस प्रकार दिन-ब-दिन ये बढ़ती,
और घटती इच्छाए बेसब्री बढ़ाये...
Or as sweet-seasoned showers are to the ground;
And for the peace of you I hold such strife
As 'twixt a miser and his wealth is found.
Now proud as an enjoyer, and anon
Doubting the filching age will steal his treasure;
Now counting best to be with you alone,
Then bettered that the world may see my pleasure;
Sometimes all full with feasting on your sight,
And by and by clean starvèd for a look;
Possessing or pursuing no delight
Save what is had, or must from you be took.
Thus do I pine and surfeit day by day,
Or glut toning on all, or all away.
Wah wah kinta sahi translation kiya hai, lagta hai sakshat Shakespeare ji ne aakar kanon me bata di mann ki baat...
