Songs Of The Beloved (Song #2) Poem by Aziz Akrish

Songs Of The Beloved (Song #2)

I saw you by the plains,
Joy filled my heart from your vision,
You shone upon me and took me by surprise, glory to my Lord,
Her hair was like the rose in the shannon,
and she was beautiful as the lily of the valleys.

Beloved you're my love,
delightful you can be,
I was sitting by the tree,
banished from the gates of poetry,
but I held this rhythm for centuries.

Now let me tell a tale of romance,
She is the woman I loved from the first glance,
I knew from there I'd take a bullet for her at any chance,
She was the love among the people I was her shield she was my lance,
I'd never want to live with you in a trance.

Yes I had regrets,
Yes there was times where I bit more than I could chew,
Yes I laughed yes I cried yes I was sad but baby when I saw you,
My sadness My depression went away,
Because you're my world and my unbrindled love.

Ever since that day,
We've been together since that day,
Truth to be told I have never believed in love at first sight,
But it was your eyes that was inviting,
I want to inform you that you should fear not,
Because my love for you is not a lie!

My heart is for one,
I think you can guess who it is,
I'll let you off with 3 attempts,
If you cannot guess, here is a hint,
I've got you under my skin,
Closer to my heart than anyone has ever been,
Girl It's you, with those hypnotizing icy eyes,
I'd sacrifice anything for you, my darling, my Love, My Wife!

And eachtime I see you, I fall in love like the first time,
And everytime I see you, you become closer to my heart,
I recite this tale for you, as I am not competent to the impossible,
But we're far away, I cannot wait for the day that our lips meet,
My beloved, I cannot wait for the day that our lips meet,
Now this is our night, let's dance till we become tired,
But know I have fell in love a 1000 times, and all of them,
I.. I... I fell in Loooooooooooooove, With yooooooooooooooooou.
