'A song I heard when I was young
the favorite of my dad and mom
these old tunes that was being sung
recalling my past and feeling calm

To hear music with love ones for long
melodies that mends and freezes time
they laughed at their own funny songs
as they follow tunes with off-key rhymes

Fond memories that comes back to me
and they continue to haunt my life
but these songs was beautiful to be
a proof of my love and longing rife

To feel the presence that I belong
and be part of their life history
as I listened to their favorite songs
their time and their songs of long ago.'
