Song Of The Sioux Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Song Of The Sioux

O'Gorman comes! Your knives unsheathe,
To slice so sweet an appetiser!
Kindle the fire! and whet your teeth!
And be each a man a Gormandiser!

'Dr. O'Gorman, of the Catholic University, has just been appointed Bishop of Sioux Falls; hence this letter.'
