Song Of Beauty Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Song Of Beauty

A song of beauty
That be propensity.

So
I do my work
As Poet Seer

I glide
When anger screams
Below me.

This is a poem of transcendence. The use of the abstraction BEAUTY is an example. It can be said there's no such thing as beauty, only components of beings, places, things that are beautiful. In other words, many contemporaries scoff at this notion, I've endured my poems being traduced for expressing this belief in beauty as a constituent element of reality and not just an emotional projection. So I applaud you for maintaining your faith in this order of reality that includes the beautiful.
