Song Bird Poem by Dale Cody

Song Bird

Rating: 3.5

When I hear my last bird sing
a warming sun perhaps, the
sweet smell of dew
A-due a-due the song bird sings
wondering not what this moment brings To another calling, an adventure
anew
farewell this life a-due a-due With song in flight to a
distant shore
where friends unite and part
no more A-due a-due the song birds sings
