Sometimes The Sun Shines In The Darkest Places

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes the Sun shines in the darkest places,
Bringing Light where only deepest traces
Of Pain in Love can be found. And profound
Longing trickles with the Brook's saddest sound,
Carving its Path slowly within the Wood's
Warm Embrace. And Dark inside are the Moods
Your Absence Inspires. And when Love expires,
Sunset Fires in your eyes Light Funeral Pyres
Within my Spirit. Burning all night Long,
As sweetly as a Bird whose Lonely Song,
Indicates the State of His Soul. Because
Some things in Nature, you can't hide, like Doves,
Flying together, separated by Time
Only, when Fate, so unkind, intervenes.
True Love's Soul Attribute Radiantly Gleams
In my Dreams, Red Garnet Shining Brightly,
As I worship your beauty daily, nightly,
I wonder if Desire alone can kill
The Resistance of Love, my Iron Will
Has never relented, so long as Stars,
Run their courses lovingly around Mars.
And Martial is my Passion, ne'er Satiated,
It burns inside me, my Core penetrated,
To the Colour of my Soul, Jessica's
Very own. And I know thou love me because
With me thou art Perfect and 100% complete -
Without, a struggling Shell, whose Love's Defeat,
Shell never be spoken, ever on Earth,
Too painful to grasp, like the Pain of Birth;
So I'd rather lend credence to Romance,
And if God truly loves me, a third chance,
To speak into the most Loving Brown Eyes,
Filling my Heart with the Glory of Skies,
Alit at night, Starfire Shining Intense,
Not proclaiming my love for you is my Deepest Sin.

This truly ranks clearly higher than most of the pieces I've so far perused on this universalized platform...evident traces of genuine poetic effort and connoisseur-grade tinkerings with nuance well amply attest to the author's colossal literary penchant. Great work, this one - kudos!

A poem of depth, passion, and precision- - it was hard work writing a poem of that length, while still retaining your rhyme scheme! How is it that you are only at Level 2 with all that talent? This poem is deserving of, and shall receive a 10! - -From another hopeless romantic
