Sometimes (Revised) Poem by Heather Burns

Sometimes (Revised)

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes!

I would love to
wake up
feel your warm
body
lying close to
mine
listen to you
softly breathing

Sometimes!

share a cup of
coffee
perhaps a biscuit
chat about the
days events

hold your hand
stroll by the
lake watch boats
entering and
leaving the harbor

mother duck
watching over her
babies as they
swim by

Sometimes!

sit with you in
the pale moonlight
reflecting on our
life together
enjoying the moment
sharing dreams

Sometimes!

make love with
you
hold you tenderly
kissing your lips
reminding you, you
are my love of life.
