Sometimes I wonder
why so often I wander.
Sometimes I wonder
if I really do squander.
Sometimes I wonder
if they are real choices,
Sometimes I wonder
how to drown out these voices.
Sometimes I wonder
if I'm just being deceptive.
Sometimes I wonder
why I'm not more reflective.
Sometimes I wonder
if my thoughts are defective.
Sometimes I wonder
if I haven't perspective.
Sometimes I wonder
how I might just break free
of this pain and this doubt,
and finally see.
