Sometimes Poem by Jacob macharia

Sometimes

Rating: 3.5

Sometimes;
It is easier to recall than regret,
All that is gone and not forget,
The lessons that were dearly learnt,
Though you were deeply hurt.

Sometimes;
The errands tracked are reminisced,
When merry moments come to mind,
With their audacity clearly emblazoned,
Not coz they are gone but coz they were enjoyed.

Sometimes;
The little and unrecognized efforts count,
When everyone else mocks your point,
If given a chance you could all over plant,
The ever cherishable of all sprouts.

Sometimes;
Playing safe isn’t morally enough,
Coz you tend to ignore the roughs,
While intermediating may bridge the troughs,
And fortunately easen the toughs.

Sometimes;
When all is under good conduct,
It’s wise to sit aback and reflect,
The paths and hands that held your pact,
Coz even a nice meal deserves a dessert.
