Something Carried You From Here Poem by Luce Darwin

Something Carried You From Here

I can't remember
If I have told this story before
Perhaps
In a dream
In a series of unrelenting ventings
Somewhere
Loud like my screams
Like my teeth grinding
Your hands reaching me
Your soft stomach
Aganist my stomach
In the dead of night
Somewhere
I met you, it was only you
Then it was a whisper
Your voice, so loveingly
Whispers I miss you
I miss you
Then something carried you
Far away from my arms
Somewhere new
I haven't quite found you again, not yet
