Someone Else But Not Me Poem by Rashidah Rahman

Someone Else But Not Me

Rating: 5.0

He says he love flower T-shirt girls
He's charming and he noes it
He says underneath it all
He's still the same geek that I used to noe
But now, it seems clear to me
That he's infatuated,
To someone else but not me

That girl may have the prettiest eyes
With the cutest laugh
With the brightest smile
With ribbons on her hair
And rainbows in her world
But why must it be
That it was someone else but not me

Because it is me who,
Got lost in your eyes
Got lost in your magic and charms
Got lost in your rainbow world
And I'm fated to never find my way again

So, honey, come and tell me now
Why must it be
That in this love story
You're infatuated
With someone else but not me
