Somebody's Got To Make A Payment Back

Advances given,
Aren't given to forgive.
Somebody's got to make a payment back,
If this is part of a contract.

Advances given,
Aren't given to forgive.
Somebody's got to make a payment back,
If this is part of a contract.

Selling one's soul to obtain an image.
Somebody's got to make a payment back.
Selling one's soul to be adored.
Somebody's got to make a payment back.
Selling pieces of a heart will eliminate its beating.
With a defeating of a tortured soul.
And once that's sold the mind goes.

Advances given aren't given to forgive.
Somebody's got to make a payment back.
Advances given aren't given to forgive.
Somebody's got to make a payment back.

Advances given,
Aren't given to forgive.
Somebody's got to make a payment back,
If this is part of a contract.

The devil can be not so forgiving to those in his image living.
    Prisoners upon the stage.
    The age old immortal slave.
What we don't know or understand could be dangerous.
But then again it could a road not taken.
Choices are ours for the making.
    Blame is in the creation.
An elevation to a perpetual high.
    Walking upon the clouds.
Walking upon the stars of the night time sky.
    An end must come.
And were always less then sufficiently prepared.
    A piper to be paid.
To deny it, is to deny life.
Of the living, not yet dead.
With excitement it can be fed.
A worthwhile existence, is one your happy with. (Report) Reply

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
