come into our lives and quickly go,
while, other stay a while
leaving footprints on our hearts,
and impressions in our souls,
they will leave
memories racing across our minds,
and through life's ups, and downs, high and lows
they will always be there.
in some distant corner of our hearts
So when the rare and special person comes,
hold them close to your heart
cherish every moment you have with them
and never let them or their memory
fade into the vague pages of the past,
those special and rare people
and their memories
will always pull you through
