Some Humanitarian Steps Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Some Humanitarian Steps

Eleven women are dead
The message is well read
The government machinery is careless
The human lives are considered meaningless

The government does the welfare program
Rush to the people with nice plan
The intention is to reach out to the people
Minimize their difficulties and troubles

But the officers or men concerned behave irresponsible
They have no sense of urgency or little care to govern
How can ignorance be tolerated on such large scale?
When families are grief stricken with such tale?

The sterilization target is nice and must be achieved
But why should it not be done under personal care and helped?
Why poor people made to suffer at the cost of precious lives?
Many are shifted in critical condition to other hospitals

It shall not help with financial aid to families
They will have lot more difficulties
With little children and poor background
Some humanitarian steps should be taken or found

A caring poem! Patrick Waters23 minutes ago Some people see others as obstacles, rather than the fellow, grief stricken, humans they are. Comment +1
