SOLSTICE SEASON
September's solstice season spans scene set;
Extends through autumn to white winter; leaves
Photo's synthesis as summer grieves,
That, cusp drawn down, regrets forgotten debt.
Ease, orchards fruitful, heavily boughs lean,
Mature crops, cornocupia spills, achieves
Bounty's harvest bundles golden sheaves.
Expectant breeze wave teases trees. Some glean
Remaining grains from fields whose yield has been
Spectacular benediction. Magic weaves
EPhemera etched trunk rings as tree conceives
TEMpting joys cocooned till Spring springs clean
BEyond restraints, bears promise, year reborn,
Restoring hope as cycles spin fresh dawn.
