Solomon's Empire Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Solomon's Empire

Yes, lovely imagination
For old age relation
Holy Ganges has flowed enough of water
Even though polluted yet sacred river

Life has flowed with great speed
Enough of money is flooded in with greed
But youth has gone with wind
The body is not cooperating with eyes getting blind

Golden dream about future is over
The home is only good shelter
Wife walks with slower movement
The behavior of relatives is less appropriate to comment

The mirror rejects clean image
As wrinkles have appeared with age
It reminds of Solomon's Great Empire
Now no more trace even to admire

Frustration tries to take over
But we both are determined to offer
The fittest answer for safe and happy journey
It was all so comfortable with blessings from the almighty
