Solitude
I sat at peace with myself and the world
No questions to ask, No answers to seek
Life seemed easy as if a walk on part
I never talked but The silence heard it all
The songs of solitude played on and
I gazed into the Delphic horizon
As if trying to guess what lay beyond
My eyes never wandered
Perhaps too tired of seeing it all
