Solitude Poem by Jesus Diaz Llorico

Solitude

'The colors of the desert sand
Transformed from the heat of the sun
And just a few species of trees
That gently sways in silent breeze
Surviving from the harsh climate
Of this barren and arid land
I have learned to love it's beauty
The solitude that it gave me
As I waited for the pouring rain
In this dreary part of my terrain.'
