Solitary Poem by Claude H Oliver II

Solitary

Standing atop a mountain
Facing streaming wind
Gazing out over distant horizon
Entranced by clouds racing below
Sun rushing to its night home
Moon gazing brightly over all.

Blissful thoughts, not a care
Untouched by life's distresses
Standing solid yet floating
Rapt in personal sanctuary
Drinking solitude's liquors.
