Rating: 2.7

If you were
to witness this

Capri would be
eclipsed

by two silhouetted
heads

coming together
in a kiss

between oleander trees

the moon
riding over

the top of the town
of Positano

would have
stopped

in its tracks
as would the waves

crenulated into crests
without their crashing

all held
in suspense

stars in their twinkle
blink

as time stops
in amazement

but the lovers
unglue
(as it were)

their lips parting
in laughter

that brings Time
to its senses

making Capri re-appear
waves waking form a daze

kissing again & again
the shocked shore

and a moon
(awakened from its dream)

of two ordinary
human beings

topple from its perch
on the tip of the town

spilling itself in silver
across a sigh of sea

& stars
can do nothing

...but smile.
