Softness Of The Breezes Poem by Wynona Gibson gibson

Softness Of The Breezes

Is that you when I feel the caress of the soft breeze?
As it drifts so quietly, so softly through the willow trees.
Is it you when the soft rain drops run down my cheek
Like a tear drop that escaped the eyes so meek.

Cascading drops of loves emotions so sweet,
I see your smile radiating from the shinning sun,
You send the rays to lighten up my world,
Even the brightest jewels cannot this be outdone.

Are you serenading me as the mockingbird sings,
Vibrating the sounds of ecstasy rings,
Melodic sweet notes trebling sweet like a flute,
The sounds so lovely even the gods are in pursuit.

Did you fluff up the soft puffy cloud so white,
Like goose down in my pillows at night
To lay and rest while I dream of paradise.
Lovely scenes only visible to my longing, searching eyes.

Did you paint the sky such a soft cerulean blue?
My favorite color and only you knew.
Yet, just yet did your magic caress the rose bush to bloom.
Like the filtering fairies weaving their magical loom.
Yes, so quietly in my heart I knew
The caress, the tear and the song could only be you.
