Social Consequences Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Social Consequences

How difficult it is?
To speak in favor and pose
The problem is wholly caused by society
It existed since time already

Sometimes social condition
Forces the woman to go in relation
That is called illegal
And not bound legally

When it is compelled by condition at home
An immediate concern is to welcome
Any suggestion that addresses concern
Makes person to take some honorable turn

We are afraid of social consequences
The male dominated society wants no more chance
That shall upset the future
And affect the children for sure

If that was only the legal
The country could have been more vocal
They need to be provided with back up health services
And future income plan promises
