Soar Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Soar

I felt the joy of knowing you love me
With your act of adoration surpassing
that of any other before as well as after you
I ascended to the clouds
Decending into a state of mind
As your touch took me beyond the heavens
Drifting away to infinity
Lifting out of myself fading in your arms
I'd soon lose myself to the melody
Having being content with a passion for fond attachment
I begin to hear the rhythm in which my heart beats
Knowing of the many pleasures
I felt the affection you have for me
With your act of admiration surpassing
that of anyone before and after you
To ascend to greater heights unknown to man
I'd become immersed in you entirely
Leaving the world behind, To revel in mine own
I feel joy knowing you cherish me with what you've displayed
Sends me soaring into paradise
