SO WISE

O Lord you are wise in all of your ways, so wise
No wonder they call you the Ancient of Days, who never dies

The always truthful one who never lies
The one who wipes away our tears when we cry

The one who feeds all of the birds that fly
Yet takes time out just to draw us nigh

The one who rules heaven and earth from on high
And has provided all that we need to get by

The one who leads us and guides us in our way
And gives us our daily bread day by day

The one who forgives us when we sin
And fights our battles so that we win

You have the solution to every problem
Whatever problems may come you have already solved them

You go way beyond supplying our basic needs
You are the only one that can judge our good and bad deeds

You have given us the choice to sow good or bad seeds
You have given us for our daily bread, your word that we could read

So I thank you Lord for being so, so wise
Now to see your face is the ultimate prize
