So Sweet Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

So Sweet

Your needs are like rain
Like sun on trees
Diversity is essential
My dear can you let me be me?
I’m needy but space must live
I promise I will take you seriously

Late curtain calls from a jungle
Everyone questions their existence
Her crimson poetry suckled like spring
Pretense gone with your touch
Let the cat in on a cold day
Basic needs expressed

You can be so sweet
