So Selfish? Poem by Taylor Hainline

So Selfish?

Rating: 3.0

Is it selfish of me
to wish you were here?
Even though it's your dream
to travel the world?

Is it selfish of me
to talk to you?
Even though I know
you have things to do?

Is it selfish of me
to miss you?
Even though I just
was with you?

If you look at what a I say,
and find it selfishly spoken,
I guess then,
selfish is who I am.
