So Many Sufferers Poem by PHIL WINTER

So Many Sufferers

Such a hell!
This earth plane!
So many sufferers!
The poor, the weak, the lame!
A generation of failures!
They walk the street
Hoping in vain,
Shadows in disgrace,
Uncaring,
Moving in sun and rain!
Clouds dark and sinister
Reflect their shame and pain!
Life for the sufferers
is hell here on earth!
Heat burns their minds;
Their flesh and their bones.
So many sufferers!
So much heat!
